Wizz Aai’s low-fares land in Pristina

Prishtina - Wizz Air, the largest low-cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, announced today its first service connecting Prishtina with Hungary’s capital, Budapest.

The low-fare route will commence on 7 April 2017, with two weekly frequencies, on Mondays and Fridays.

Wizz Air’s Budapest network with 59 destinations to 28 countries will also serve as a logical gateway to Europe for Kosovo travelers. The new route will connect the two countries directly for the first time, boost bi-directional tourism and establish an important link for trade and business between Hungary and Kosova.

In the past 12 months ending on 30 November 2016 Wizz Air carried more than 22.4 million passengers stimulating the local job market in aviation, hospitality and tourism sectors and supporting over 16,800** jobs in associated industries.
