Airport "Adem Jashari" reducing by half the prices of services

Pristina - Limak makes the big step ahead at the Prishtina International Airport-PIA "Adem Jashari" by reducing 50% fees of ground handling services for airlines that carry only passengers and their luggage.

In an agreement with the Unit for Public Private Partnership-PPP, within the Ministry of Finance, and other relevant authorities, Limak has decided that from the new summer season reduce fees applied for airport ground handling services by 50% for the airlines which increase their presence in the market of air services, either to new destinations or with additional flights to destinations already served.

Airlines may benefit from new incentive product, namely limited ground handling services, provided that do not carry cargo, not require loading/offloading services or usage of cargo terminal.

Focus of the new incentive product is oriented towards airlines carrying passengers and their luggage, thus enabling even faster processing of flights.

Objective of Limak is to increase the competition, and increase the number of air operators at PIA \"Adem Jashari\" and what is very important to have greater presence of low cost airlines.

These developments will increase the opportunities for flights from many destinations directly to Prishtina and vice versa and also provides an opportunity for even more suitable flights, normally within the level of impact of airport fees applied to airlines.

Incentive product is disseminated to airlines and published on the airport website.
