Prishtina, 2 july - President Jahjaga and General Timothy Orr discussed about the partnership between Kosovo and Iowa as well as about the deepening of cooperation between the Kosovo Security Force and the National Guard of Iowa.
 
President Jahjaga praised the role and contribution of General Orr and the Iowa National Guard in the professional preparation of the members of the Kosovo Security Force.

The President stressed the importance of the support from the Iowa National Guard also for the structural reform process of the Kosovo Security Force and its transformation into the Armed Forces of Kosovo, in accordance with the NATO standards.
 
President Jahjaga highly praised the up to date cooperation and stressed the importance of the Partnership with Iowa that has already been expanded into many fields.

General Timothy Orr, expressed the commitment of the Iowa National Guard to continue the very good cooperation with the Kosovo Security Force and to support it in the process of the structural reform and the transformation in the Armed Forces of Kosovo.
